Mauro Fisberg
Possui graduação em Medicina pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1976), residência em Pediatria e doutorado em Pediatria pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo. É Pediatra e Nutrologo, Professor Associado do Setor de Medicina do Adolescente- Escola Paulista de Medicina- UNIFESP, membro do corpo de orientadores em Pediatria e Ciências Aplicadas a Pediatria – EPM – UNIFESP, Coordenador do Centro de Dificuldades Alimentares do Instituto Pensi – Hospital Infantil Sabará, Coordenador da Força Tarefa Estilos de Vida Saudável International Life Science Institute – ILSI Brasil, membro do Conselho Cientifico e da diretoria. Membro da Diretoria do Danone Institute International, Alumni da Fundacao Kellogs (Leadership Program Partners of the Americas) e da United Nations University- UNU- World Hunger Program. Foi presidente e Secretário geral da SLAIP- Soc. Latinoamericana de Investigacion Pediatrica e chair do Projeto ELANS- projeto Latino Americano de Saúde e Nutrição. Tem experiência na área de Nutrição, com ênfase em nutrição da criança e do adolescente, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: obesidade, adolescentes, epidemiologia nutricional, composição corporal, dificuldades alimentares, alimentação e habito alimentar.

Graduated in Medicine from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP) and specialized in Pediatrics and Nutrition. Obrained his PhD in Pediatrics at the same institution. Is Associate professor of the Medicine of the Adolescent Sector in the Pediatrics Department of UNIFESP, Coordinator of the Nutrition and Feeding Difficulties Center- Children´s Hospital Sabará, member of the International Board of Directors, Danone Institute International. Fellow from Kellog´s Foundation (Partners of the Americas Leadership program) and United Nations University (World Hunger Program). He was also president and general secretary of the Latin American Society for Pediatric Research ( SLAIP), and Chair of the ELANS – Latin American Project on Nutrition and Health. He has experience in Nutrition, focusing on child and adolescent Nutrition, acting on the following subjects: adolescents, obesity, food intake, nutritional epidemiology, feeding difficulties, anemia and nutritional intervention.
