Vânia D’Almeida

Brief CV: Graduate in Biological Sciences at Universidade Mackenzie, conducted her MSc and a PhD in Biochemistry, both at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). She is Associate Professor at UNIFESP and Coordinator of the Graduation Committee at Escola Paulista de Medicina – UNIFESP. She has authored over 160 papers, supervised over 40 MSc and PhD thesis, her H factor of 27 and is a Fellowship researcher from CNPq. She has experience in Biochemistry and Genetics, focusing on Metabolism and Bioenergetics, acting on the following subjects: homocysteine, oxidative stress, epigenetics, inborn errors of metabolism and lysosomal storage diseases.
