The Teen-ing project uses only behavioral measures that are in the public domain so as to democratize their use and increase replicability.
For the same reasons, behavioral measures are avaliable to all and can be used without special software or hardware: they were build in such as way that they can be printing out or presented using PowerPoint; the experimenters need only have a pen, a stopwatch and answer sheed that are also provided.
Stimuli in the tasks are black, white and gray when possible so that testing can be carried out in people who have difficulty discriminating colors.
Letters and words were avoided as stimuli, which were either numbers or pictures/fotographs that represent objects that are familiar do young children. In this way, the tasks can be used irrespective of testees social and academic background.
