Brief CV: Graduated in Psychology (Faculdade Paulistana de Ciências e Letras) and in Biochemistry and Pharmacy (Pontificia Universidade Católica of Campinas). She obtained her MSc and PhD in Psychobiology at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), where she is now Professor. She is the coordinator of the Research Center on Health and Substance Use (NEPSIS) and of the Regional Reference Center on Crack and Other Drugs (RRC-DIMESAD-UNIFESP). Her area of expertise is psychosocial aspects related to use of psychotropics and its health implications through epidemiological frameworks, qualitative analysis, clinical trials and community evaluation of preventive and therapeutic interventions. Her main topics of study are: alcohol / drugs in socially vulnerable populations; relapse prevention based on mindfulness; drug use; violence; and family.
