Brief CV: He graduated in Music by the Universidade Estadual Paulista and obtained a PhD in Sciences from Escola Paulista de Medicina – Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), which was awarded prize of best Thesis by CAPES in his field in 2013. His interests are on application of structural equation modeling in different contexts and epidemiological designs, in particular data that involves cognitive development to analyze effectiveness of interventions or creation and validation of tests and questionnaires. Since 2014 he has integrated the graduate programme in Psychiatry at UNIFESP. He coordinates the Laboratory of Innovative Psychometrics (LIP: Laboratório de Inovações em Psicometria). In the psychometric field he is involved with the Centre for Longitudinal Studies creating indicators of developmental trajectories from childhood to adolescence in two main British cohorts (1970 British Cohort Study e a 1958 National Child Development Study). He also has experience in analysis of different epidemiological studies in mental health focusing on randomized trials with complex sampling in the field of education. At present he works in Berlin with a scholarship awarded by the Humboldt Foundation in collaboration with CAPES.
