Sabine Pompéia

Brief CV: Graduated in Biological Science at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho, obtained a MSc in Neuroscience and Behavior from the University of São Paulo, a PhD in Psychobiology at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), and post-doctorate at the Department of Neurology at UNIFESP (Young Investigator award from FAPESP). She is currently Adjunct Professor at UNIFESP (Department of Psychobiology). Her research focuses on the investigation of healthy human cognition and biophysiological correlates including the following topics: memory, attention, executive functions, impulsivity, learning, psychopharmacology, electrophysiology, pupillometry, sleep, as well as adaptation of cognitive and mood measures for use in Brazil. She has been a member of the Ethics Committee of UNIFESP since 2011 and has recently become a member of the Brazilian Network for Science in Education. At present she is head of a Thematic Project (FAPESP) that aims at assessing biopsychosocial factors that affect the development of self-regulation of behavior during adolescence.
