During her PhD, she obtained a visiting scholarship from the Foundation for Research Support of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo at the McGill University. She conducted her postdoctore at the Universidade Federal de S\u00e3o Paulo and at the Centre for Studies on Human Stress, Institute Universitaire en Sant\u00e9 Mentale de Montr\u00e9al, Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CSHS-IUSM). She is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing at USP and coordinates an international research agreement between USP and CSHS-IUSM.
