His interests are on application of structural equation modeling in different contexts and epidemiological designs, in particular data that involves cognitive development to analyze effectiveness of interventions or creation and validation of tests and questionnaires.\u00a0 Since 2014 he has integrated the graduate programme in Psychiatry at UNIFESP. He coordinates the Laboratory of Innovative Psychometrics (LIP: Laborat\u00f3rio de Inova\u00e7\u00f5es em Psicometria). In the psychometric field he is involved with the Centre for Longitudinal Studies creating indicators of developmental trajectories from childhood to adolescence in two main British cohorts (1970 British Cohort Study e a 1958 National Child Development Study). He also has experience in analysis of different epidemiological studies in mental health focusing on randomized trials with complex sampling in the field of education.
